Screening of Depression in Overweight and Obese Children and Adolescents Presenting for Well Child Care Visits to the Children’s Hospital University of Illinois
Studies have shown an association between the development and persistence of obesity and depression in children. Prior to our QI project, there was no screening process for depression in overweight and obese patients presenting for well child care visits (WCC).
